I have to come up with some sort of frock that will look nice and cocktail hourish while keeping me WARM for his reunion. It’s in less than 2 weeks, so I don’t have time to like…say drop ten pounds…or anything drastic like that. I DO, however, have the time to get a dress if need be and some subtle hypo allergenic makeup. I don’t ever normally wear more than some lip tint and vaseline *lol* since I have never been big on that stuff. I think I have worn makeup twice in the last 9 years since I got married…and one of those instances was a Mary Kay presentation. I feel like I have to do something somewhat spectacular so the hubs can be happy to have a dime on his arm that night.

My hair is another story. I might end up doing my braid out faux hawk. Dunno yet. My hair is considerably longer since the last time I did it.

We shall see …

Just before we moved to NY for this missionary stuff we do, I was thinking about starting another hobby. I never got the chance to get all my jewelry making tools, but I still have the beads and strings I use for Native American style jewelry and belts. It’s still all in storage and I am so jonesing for something to keep my hands busy! I have always been a multi-crafter, and having only one thing on my hands at any given time becomes boring!

So we are going through our Christmas list and coming to a certain great conclusion:

We are only buying for our son this year.

It has been a rough couple years for us and this year hasn’t let up yet. Still holding out hope that things will turn for greatness before the end of this year. God is good all the time and I know that His plans are way greater than anything I could ever cook up.

Today I could sleep till tomorrow. The tiredness is setting in. I never realize how much sleep I am missing until I actually get a night of restful sleep! I could have used a shot of vitamin c serum to wake me up this morning! I ended up settling for a tall cup of orange juice and some breakfast to get me started. Now it’s wearing off and I have to find another way to stay awake…or just give in and take a nice long nap

Thanks so much to my husband for these lovelies. I dont buy shoes much anymore, especially none like this. My husband has a good eye <3 They are comfortable, too.

How sweet is it that my 7 year old often looks at his tired old mom and tells me I need a day off Sometimes he will even rub my shoulders for a few minutes. Tonight he decided to give me a foot rub. I have to say he is quite good and nearly put me to sleep! I love that kid…always looking out for his mommy.

My poor husband! He was trying so hard to fix his mother’s iphone, but to no avail. He worked for eighteen hours total trying to get her phone to do flash, but it never worked! He actually ended up having to do an iphone recovery five times in the process of trying to make it do what she needs in order to play her favorite game!

Even with all his diligence, research, attention to detail, and effort, he was still unable to get the game to work on her phone. It’s a shame, too. She was really looking forward to being able to beef up her Bejeweled score on Facebook.

He didn’t give up, though, and is still looking for solutions for her iphone. I have a feeling he will still figure it out in time.

Oh, the love of a son for his mother! <3
