Make my brain stop!

Oh how I wish there were an easier way to do taxes for a business! I mean, I already go to a tax person for all that, but getting something else might help during the year so we don’t have so much to think about at the end of it all. For instance, visually based business intelligence software could do the trick. I would have to be consistent about putting all the info into the computer, though. As it stands, most of our records are on paper. I don’t know. We will see what the future holds!

Surprise party

I was so happy to be part of the Evangelist Pam Gatke surprise birthday party last night! What a blessed time that was. We also gave a shot out to our son who’s birthday was yesterday, too. Everyone had such great things to say about Evang. Pam. She is such an awe-inspiring woman of faith. We were truly blessed and honored to be part of the celebration. We shared our ministry with the congregation, which was great. We love to share our ministry, our testimonies, and our life with people. It makes living worth while. I know that everyone else had a great time, too. She was truly surprised…had NO clue that the party was going on. Her husband, friends, and family did a phenomenal job :D

I know I been changed

Now how can you see it??? It’s like I have been taking spiritual fat burners all weekend. God has been pumping me full of that living water…and every message has been cohesive across the board. God is counterbalancing this world in a way like never before. Things are about to seriously change. The tide is turning, and it’s time to get your house in order. Are you ready? I am double checking to make sure that I am! The Bible is coming to life before our eyes every day. Prepare yourself!

Raining like whoooa!

I woke up to a little more than just the pitta-pat of rain drops. It’s not quite an onslaught, but just nearly! I knew it looked and felt like rain yesterday. The air was pregnant with the possibility of a storm. It came sometime after midnight. The only thing is that we have to DRIVE in this later. We are going to be in the Bronx for some services they are having at our previous church. It’s a good thing rain relaxes me, or I wouldn’t be so content right now. Rain is like good hair loss products: once it penetrates, there is bound to be significant growth in due time!

Building a birthday

My husband is so awesomely great! He decided to get our son what he really wanted: a tv stand. I priced them all over the place and found one that was only 30 dollars (6 dollars to us since we have a gift card). Instead, we went to the local big hardware shop and were blessed to find all the pieces to make the entertainment center for a mere 5 dollars! *with the screws it comes up to about fifteen dollars, but the screws will go further than just this project*. SO Excited about that <3 I am really glad that we were able to find that and a shoe organizer for ten dollars less than it would have cost us to just buy a ready made center…and it’s built with an extra ingredient:

a father’s love!

We are planning to go to the Dr. Seuss reading in our area on Saturday morning. That night we have concert, but I am sure that he will get a lot of out of that. He likes to rap with us. So onward we go building our son’s 8th birthday to be one he won’t forget :D

Tired of the tire

OH for a way to get rid of this thing without having to suffer! I didn’t suffer getting it, so why should I suffer to get rid of it? There are always the popular routes like taking a weight loss supplement, going on a special diet, or just working out till I pass out. I don’t know what I will do specifically, but something has GOT to go!

Constant?

I saw a commercial for constant contact the other day. I was under the notion that this meant something closer to being always under surveillance, but it’s not really the case. I can’t believe just how connected life has become. We can do nearly everything through one application set now. This little doozie is for email contacts, so don’t go panicking thinking that Big Brother is coming!

Never got it to work

OH THAT PRINTER! I never did get it to work. The error continued with the ink and nothing online could help me. I thought maybe it would have needed something like recycled toner cartridges, but that wasn’t the case. It’s just annoying! ARGH! And so, it goes into the attic till I feel like trying again. Meanwhile, I got my own printer from storage so I can print, scan, and copy till my heart’s content!
