I am currently revamping my guitar/lyrics worship binder. The other one was getting to be wayyy too small, so I had to upgrade. Funny how the new pages plus the old only leave about a half inch worth of space in the new binder for more songs. Without someone’s generous donation and a friend’s scharing heart, I wouldn’t have the new binder. I would be struggling to either get them all into the old binder, or beginning a new binder that is much smaller than the original. Now, I am looking for images to photoshop into a nice musical collage so I can use it as the front, side, and back covers for the new binder. Yay

Love when I wake up to a song
I have my mp3 player on all night, but usually I wake up with a totally different song in my head than what’s playing. I very rarely hear exactly what’s going on with the mp3 player! It’s funny to me, since it just confirms that I honestly do dance the beat of a different drummer!
Would it be advantageous?
Or just gratuitous, I wonder. I was looking into decor for the new apartment. We just got some even better towels for the bathroom. I was also thinking about updating the 2nd couch and picking from some contemporary coffee tables for the living room. The way the room is set up, though, I can imagine that it would just be another tripping hazard for when I come into the room with the lights off. Banged shins all around! Still, I wouldn’t object to some nice side tables.
Valentine’s day dinner
Unfortunately, I forgot my memory card in my computer or I would have a load of pictures from last night. We went to the Assembly of God in Shirley NY. The lobby was adorned in hearts, roses, and romantic candles. As we walked down the stairs, we were engulfed in the pinks and reds of the decoration. The food was all laid out and everyone was so nice! I got a prize right off the bat just for the choice of seat I made. I got a 2 tier tea light. Then we got lots of chocolate and I even got a bingo prize. I received a beautiful necklace with matching earrings.
The food was phenomenal. Everything down the desserts was homemade. There was baked ziti, eggplant Parmesan, chicken francais, broccoli rabe, chicken n rice, and so much more. dessert was an array of cupcakes, cheesecake, pie, cannoli, and more. SOOO GOOD!
The company was awesome. Got to meet lots of other pastors and wives. There is a Ministry Wives Fellowship meeting at the end of March. Should be interesting. I have not been part of a fellowship like that before.
Time to confess our latest news
SOOOO the big news is that we moved… We have been gradually settling into our new 2 bedroom apartment *which is the top part of a house* in Long Island. We are still urban missionaries, so this move makes this our *temporary* home. My permanent address is still NJ because I know that we will go back there eventually, and that is where our ministry base is located. Like so many missionaries, the mission field is the place they minister but home stays home no matter what.
We have a lovely master bedroom, a large child’s bedroom, a kitchen, and a living room. There is enough space to put a dining room table, tho there is no official dining room space. We have a bathroom with a shower *no tub* and not quite enough space to put a bathroom vanity, but spacious enough to make it look nice.
We have been here officially for about a week and a half. So far, I have updated the deco here, but we have some serious work to do later on such as replacing countertops and flooring in the kitchen. Hubby is also going to be pulling out paneling in our bedroom and replace it with the beauty of white sheet rock *lol*.
Oh and I heard from the publisher this morning… 2 weeks till I find out whether or not they are publishing my book. I announced that on Facebook already, but this is for all those who are not on facebook 
ANNNNND We are both enrolled in NYDSOM .. NY District School of Ministry and will be credentialed with the Assemblies of God by the end of the year!
Printer won’t work
Got this HUGEMUNGOUS printer sitting in front of me and it keeps coming up with a cartridge error EVEN AFTER I have cleaned the print heads. Joy. I have done all the troubleshooting I care to do on the thing today. I was hoping to print out some lyrics to some songs I want to learn for church. Ah, well, guess it has to wait a couple more days till I get my own printer in my hands again.

OH how I adore freebies! I am one of those people who trolls the coupon blogs looking for freebies I can either get online or in store. Recently, there have been other freebies I have been interested in such as tradeshow giveaways and things like that. How cool is it to get a free usb with an inscription on it? I got one once from a favorite podcast of mine. I LOVE FREEBIES!!!
Our year is starting for real
Lots of things are here and blooming. It’s not spring yet, but I am glad to say that God has been faithful to us! Praise Him for his mercy and love! He has truly been great to us and provided for all our needs. He has gone above and beyond what we could ever ask or think. I thank Him for this life, for being able to serve Him on the daily, and His everlasting love!
