I got my acoustic a nice little Dean Markley Pro Mag edition for a great price thinking “wow this awesome transducer is just what I needed! and what a price!” …. only to have it crash and burn on me 2 Sundays of worship! The hum *they called is a 60 cycle hum* was being produced by this horrific Pro Mag!!! So I ended up taking it to the store to get a different one, even if it meant spending more money, since this one was obviously not going to cut it. I ended up with a DiMarzio DP138 Virtual Acoustic Pickup with Volume Control, Black. This thing KICKS! I brought my Leila *it’s the guitar* in with me to try the new transducer. OH MY! We plugged her up with the pickup and the amp in the store….wowza all the way up to 10 with the volume on the actual device all the way up and STILL NO HUMMMMMM!!!!!!! We got ourselves a winner, folks!
