NEED and Want to do list

WeLL

I need to work on music, record a few songs that I have been working on making as perfect as possible.

I need to do the 3 loads of laundry that are here. I can probably get 2 done today.

I need to study. This test is Saturday and I am mostly okay, but there are parts that are refusing to stick, so I am about to slather some super glue on the facts and MAKE them stick!

I want to get more done on this hugemongous cross stitch. I am nearly finished the wording on the —- part of the cross. Then I will only have the word Footprints to do and then begins the tedious color work. All worth it for my hubby!

I want to start another knitting project. I have nothing but practice for the Boy on my needles right now.

I need to go shopping for groceries. Now that the truck is broken…we shall see when that actually happens. Easy fix, not so easy to get to the point of getting it done.

Oh Jesus help us.

Hey at least it’s midnight

We are still here! I love it when these prophetic utterances are proven false! It only then goes to prove how the bible is true. No man knows the day nor the hour when the Son of Man cometh!

I was tempted to just take my son to the park, go play with him on the swing sets, and watch the world go by as they contemplated the end of the earth. What people fail to realize is that the earth doesn’t end….only the AGE does. Wow.

I am happy, regardless of when the end comes. Why? Because I know where I’m going, where my son is going, my husband…and pretty much our whole family. Praise the Lord for His providence and saving power!

Tired and sleepy

Yes I am still up.

NO I don’t want to be!

I have a bright and early day tomorrow but I didn’t finish all I needed to do today … Gar.

The bargain

OMG I AM SOOOO HAPPY! We got the 60 cd set of the Bible Experience Old Testament for fifty dollars less than the actual price! I scarcely believed it when I saw it. I was like “where is the barcode scanner so I can double check?” Alas, I bought online so that wasn’t an option, but when the sale went through and the package was sent out yesterday only to be delivered TODAY I went bananas! Thank GOD!!!! I can finally listen to the entire Bible from beginning to end WOOT!!!

Side jobs and whatnot

I know that the spring weather affects us all very differently. I just want to walk around and smell the flowers all day. Our son wants to play in the grass all day. My hubby? Well he would love to be doing some construction jobs right now, I am sure. It’s his passion. This is the perfect time of year to do it. Fall and spring are the best for construction *especially outside* because the weather is usually agreeable *minus the rain*.

My toe

Is only a bit better. Reaggravated it yesterday while shopping, but I will live! My toe is still attached LOL! It’s okay, though. I keep it taped to my other toe so it’s straight. Shoes are a hassle. Today I looked really nice while limping around church. My outfit was cute :P Anyway, just thought I would update on the toe situation real quick before moving on to other things.

Thankful

It has been nearly ten years since my husband and I first met, nearly ten years since we were married. We have manufactured homes out of nothing but pure love for God, love for each other, and a dogged determination to make it through no matter what. We have traveled thousands of miles, ministered to thousands of people. We have braved the seas of parenthood and been so richly rewarded with our son that we cannot even express our gratitude for him. Today, I am thankful that God is a God of miracles. That He is a God of love and family. That He is the one who chooses who to exalt and who to humble. I praise Him for my life, my family, my present, and my future. I praise Him because of what He has done to take me out of the pit of Hell and lead me to everlasting paradise with Him. Thank you, Lord!

Good mother’s day

I really enjoyed my mother’s day. Church was nice. We received a book about 12 extraordinary women of the Bible. My son made me a pretty Mother’s Day card with purple rose embellishments *he knows they are my favorite flowers*.

My men took me out to TGI Fridays where I consumed a lovely dinner of chicken and shrimp with creamy mashed potatoes and vanilla bean cheesecake for dessert. My appetizer was the broccoli cheese soup. Our server was super nice. I really liked how personable she was. This is maybe the third restaurant we have been to where they actually treat you like a person and not an annoyance. In ten years, this is the best service I have received… TWO times in a row! Joyful.

Finished off the night watching tv and doing my cross stitch next to my wonderful hubby-bear.

Thank You Jesus for making me the mother of such a wonderful child with such a wonderful man!

When we returned home, I was able to pick up my cross stitch and relax while being served for the rest of the evening by my men. They are so sweet!
