While cooking I’m thinking
We still have worship on Sunday 
I have to get my guitar songs in the email so I can practice. Being as it is a holiday, I don’t expect the list today. I hope that our worship leader is having a great holiday with her family. She works hard and deserves time off!
Thanksgiving is upon us
So here I sit at 2 in the morning finishing the plan for our small thanksgiving meal. Yes, small and yes we waited til today to get our fixins together. LOL! I never wait this long, but we didn’t get to have a normal Tday last year and this year we aren’t traveling.
So what is on the menu?
Turkey Breast (of course) with my special brine
Stuffing (homemade by someone else)
Mashed Potatoes (homemade by me and dairy free)
Gravy (mine and Campbells)
Mac n Cheese (mine based on a recipe from somewhere else)
Cornbread
Green beans (or broccoli, dunno yet)
Macaroni Salad (also homemade but no by me)
Dessert:
Banana Nilla Wafter Pudding
Sweet Potato Pie (store bought, yes i know it’s not as good as homemade 
)
Pumpkin Bread or cupcakes
Cool whip!
Gonna be good for sure. Starting up in 6 hours. Got all my recipes in order and just waiting to pass out so I can rest up for the morning. Looking forward to watching the parade on TV with my babies (husband, son, and inside agent LOL).

So cold, but then it’s not
Geez! Just when you think you need to pull out the zamberlan boots, it feels like spring again. What weird weather. If anyone is wondering about global warming, they need to read up on both the extremes of the phenomenon since it deals with extremes on both ends. I wonder what it will really be like tomorrow after such a nice, semi-breezy kind of day.
Blog stagnance
My husband says I have a lot to blog about, but honestly I really don’t. Why? Most of it is confidential or extremely private. Who wants to read a post that says “Hi Today I did something and went somewhere with someone to do some stuff. We talked about things and prayed. The end”
NOBODY!
So forgive me if my blog looks stagnant. I am blogging away in my mind, but I surely can’t put all my business out there for the world to see. I don’t do it on facebook or any other social media outlet so I surely will not be doing that here.
Nearly thanksgiving
Wow can you believe how close we are to another thanksgiving? How about knowing the end of the year is right around the corner? WOW!
I am also looking forward to black friday. We don’t usually buy much, but we get a few things we have been looking at for the whole year. It’s time to take a look through the early black friday ads, the lowe’s coupons at dropdowndeals, the early bird specials, AND don’t forget cyber monday! Too cool
My poor hubby :(
So we found out yesterday that my husband has a tear in his shoulder from the car accident! Oh the devastation that wiped across both of our faces! He has aspirations and dreams of getting mma sports trophies and such. We are praying that this stuff works out quickly so he can move on with his dreams. Poor baby! He’s in so much pain!
