Some shows you just can’t stop watching, and this is one of them. I adore the Golden Girls. They are pretty freaking awesome.

YAY glad that boy won American Idol instead of Adam. Now we won’t hear about him for a good long time. No idol since Fantasia has made any kind of splash big enough for anyone to care about. None of them have EVER gained the fame that Kelly Clarkson has achieved.
Then you have So You Think You Can Dance coming back tonight! WHOOOOO! I can hardly contain my glee. These are the people through whom I vicariously live. Not my child. He can do whatever his heart desires *as long as it’s not evil*. I would have been a dancer if my knees were not so ridiculous. So I raise my candle to those who can dance and do it well enough to be on television. I can only do those things in my dreams.

That’s right. I was rocking out so hard last night that I think I gave myself whiplash. I almost got a concussion and broke my leg, but that didn’t happen so I am extremely happy.
We went to a free Christian rock and rap concert last night. My bro in law was in it. OMG Talk about awesome. The rock acts were phenomenal. I will have to post some music when I get it later today. Freaking awesome! At least one of the bands will be coming to Bridgeton for the youth rally on January 9th. I can hardly wait.
Wish I had pictures, but I didn’t think to take it. We didn’t actually know where we were going yesterday when we got to my bro in law’s. He told us to meet him at his house at 4:30 so we did. LOL

I was fortunate enough to be able to chill with people from my church and another church tonight at Young Adults meeting. We went to the coffee house nearby, had some lovely refreshments, and great talk about purity. I am really into this coffee house setting for things like this. This is my second time going, and I hope to attend the next ones. It’s hard, though, since my husband usually works Friday nights.
We are talking about starting a mom’s group for us to all hang out with or without the kids. There aren’t any mom groups in our area that we know of who are Christian and want to just meet up for some fun times, maybe a little learning to knit/crochet, and give our kids social interaction. I hope that we will be able to start that in early January, after all the holiday hubbub is out of the way. It should be fun!

Last night me and the Man caught up on some Mythbusters shows. One of them was about whether or not the scene in the movie Caddyshack was plausible. Apparently, it’s not. You won’t find me donning golf shoes any time soon to find out if I can replicate THAT experiment. I must say that the explosion at the end was freaking cool, though.
The other experiment was with the actual distance from the shark from Deep Blue Sea you would have to be in order to survive the explosion. They say you would have to be over 150 feet from the shark AND you couldn’t possibly blow up a shark with the things that they used in the movie. Fun stuff! They have the best job.

I named my guitar Leila. I didn’t know why that was the name I chose. She is sitting over in her carrier all nice and comfy right now. I kept thinking maybe that name came to me because of one my favorite songs…but everytime I thought about the name, I would get a last name that popped into my head.
Come to find out, the last name was that of my great grandmother on my mom’s side. Her name is the one that kept popping into my head and she is the real reason my guitar is now named Leila.

I did alright, not my best or anything. No one noticed, so it was okay. We did get to hang out with my inlaws for a while *his sister and her hubby*. My son got to play with his cousins all day, and it was a fun time. We got our music mojo back on again and are planning a come back album *hopefully* to be released in the near future. Talk about awesome
