Seems that Heartbreak Trio is back on the road, beating down the dreams of many. The one that has broken my heart the most, though, is Temptress. That poor girl! All that pressure on herself to make it as a singer for her dying mother. I thought it noble of them all to get up and support her anyway.
My son was so struck by the awesomely bad voice of this guy

That he couldn’t help but exclaim “Oh he is terrible! Why does he sound so weird?” LMBO!!!! He was also of the same mind when it came to the next guy in line.
I know there is more show and more days of this torture to come…and I have planned to see it all.

Ain’t it the truth?

My son has decided that he should use all his remote controls for the things in his room. This means that things will get wonky at some point or other. He doesn’t know what all the buttons do, but he surely will find out. I went in to check on him the other day and found that he turned on the French dvd subtitle option. I just chuckled and shook my head. I bet you he doesn’t even realize how he did it yet LOL

Okay.. Dot Dot Dot bothers me. They look just like AFI. The lead even ACTS like him. It’s irking me. Seriously. The Old Number Seven would be great on the Country channel. They have cute, fun songs…but I couldn’t listen to them on a daily basis. How DARE Mr. Gin Blossoms say “funner”.
Denver? Uh, no. The vocalist there and with The Mugs needs to stop.
I like Rocket, but that chick needs some voice lessons like WHOA. Just a little more in tune would do them wonders.
I adore The Clark Brothers and Light of Doom, though. They should definitely keep on going. Franklin Bridge, whether they are picked up on this show or after this show, will become a hit regardless. I also enjoy Sixwire.
The Likes of You and The Hatch were gypped. America…please don’t be dolts with this. As many scares as we have had over the years with American Idol, I would think we have all learned our lesson.
DONT SCREW THIS UP!!!

I have been seeing commercial for this a lot recently. I didn’t really know what it was about till I went to the The CW’s Gossip Girl website. The short ad video there reveals that the six main characters are all looking for something to believe in. I am not looking for something, I know what I believe IN, but there are so many other complicated issues around that. I wonder if they will address them all. Knowing that the show is fashioned by the same people who made The O.C. makes me think this is going to be a series to set for DVR.
They already have a MySpace Fan Page set up for anyone who falls in love with the show. The whole premise is based on The Gossip Girl book series. I am going to have to see if I can put them on my booksfree list. The premiere of the show is on September 19th. I might not be here, but I will be catching this episode on my DVR later on that night.

I have to get on with my blogging as usual today, though I don’t feel like it. There are things I want to blog about, but they all pale in comparison to the issue at hand. I guess I have to just trust God and believe that these boys will be sentenced fairly. I am not saying that they should get off for assault, but their sentences were wayyyy out there. Fair justice is all I ask.
Last night I was watching Biggest Loser. I tend to not watch that as much as Celebrity Fit Club, but this time I am drawn in. The possibility that the black team will come out as the dark horse and defeat the other two teams just makes me want to watch, root for them, encourage them in my thoughts. What they set out to do seems impossible, but it is attainable through their determination and will power.
I am searching for my own determination right now. I have so much that needs to be done physically, mentally, spiritually…but I have no desire or will to do everything that entails. I want to lose at least ten pounds. I want my flat pretty stomach back. I will even settle for flatter than it is now. I don’t have to look like I did when I was 16. I will settle for what I looked like 3 years ago. I want to burn my sage every day and commune with God on the side porch. I want to finish my book and start the next one. I want so much. I just really need to get on the ball and DO it.

I love this show so much. They have some great advice. I was watching one that I DVR’d the other day. They were talking about defiant preschoolers. I am having issues with that right now. My son is all about independence from everything, especially authority. Being 4, I guess I can understand that. It doesn’t make it any easier on me, though. Sometimes I just have no patience/energy for it. I guess I should write and see if I can get a few of the experts’ business cards. Some of them really do know what they are talking about. They had some good advice for gaining more control over a controlling preschooler.

I just got my free upgrade to Digital Cable Preferred and a DVR. I got a special from Comcast for it. We are in the process of enjoying all kinds of channels. I LOVE On Demand. *sigh* This will bring our bill up to a whopping 80$ but that wont be for more than 2 months. I hope we can keep it. I miss all my shows. AND NOW I can record them and watch them Later!! Joy and ecstasy.
