The theory of everything

Yes there really is a theory of everything. You have to read about it to believe it. It’s pretty fascinating stuff. I was reading about Theory of Everything that has been dubbed Flucidity. Take a gander at the chart:

synop

Basing everything on the sphere that is the world, all things *not just scientific phenomena* can be explained. I know it sounds a bit crazy, but stay with me on this one. If you are a believer in God, you already have a theory of everything as everything can be explained through the Higher power. The theory of Flucidity is not much different in that the same principal for everything coming from one co-centric essence is a given. It also says something that I always have said..everyone is a genius in whatever God given talent they have. They are an expert in their field and therefore everyone has a specific purpose. Pretty interesting stuff, for sure. Go read more about it. I surely am. You will probably see some of it end up on my Spiritual blog soon.

Animated African-American show get awards

How cool is this? Magic Cellar has made history being the only animated TV series in the entire world that has received the Gold World Medal. The award was given to the show on the 2nd of February in Ottawa, Canada. Funny how I just found out about this today. South African children are watching this and seeing themselves reflected on the screen. It’s the first time in history. Think about that…in this day and age that this will be the first time in animation ever for their eyes to behold. It’s sad. Sad that it has taken this long for something like this to surface. The story lines always have a moral. Good clean fun every time. I wish that I could see it for myself on our television. It’s always good for children to learn about different cultures that may or may not tie into their own backgrounds. There is even a spiritual aspect to the story lines. Go read the episode synopses and learn about the series. I think I will have to write them an email and let them know that their impact would be a greatly felt if it were to be released to the entire world.

Fun Facts: Today In History

This Day in History: January 24 — Infoplease.com

Caligula was murdered on this day so many years ago. It was a brutal murder. Want to read it from the perspective of Cleo? Read Cleopatra the 8th by Margaret George. I think that Julius was an awesome guy with ambition. He got a bum wrap and it would have been interesting to see the world after he got through with it.

Thurgood Marshall also died this day in 1993. He was the first African-American Supreme Court justice. This year will be the first year we have a legitimate candidate for President who is African-American. It is going to be an interesting year. I am sure that Thurgood had a lot to do with this courageous effort to literally change the face of history.

I never thought of a man getting this…

I was reading about men going in for plastic surgery. I never thought that a guy would go and get a Naples face lift or any face lift for that matter. I just never thought of it as a procedure that a man would need. I guess they are just as vain as many women. It’s funny how many things that happen in this world all the time that we believe are gender specific.

Take a look around the world and you will find many different things that we believe to be gender specific actually change sides…right down to breastfeeding! I know that I never even thought of a man having an actual breast until it became more publicized that men were getting breast cancer.

In Europe, men carry valises that look like women’s purses. In many cultures, the roles are reversed where the women do all the work and the men nurture the children. There is a lot of knowledge to be gained through the study of reversed gender roles and such. It makes you see the truth behind what makes men and women tick.

Fun Facts: George Lindemann SENIOR

I know I did one about his son, so I figured I would follow up with a fun fact sheet about the father: George Lindemann Sr. There is a scholarship fund out there in his name.

Why?

Well he is a billionaire with much influence. He created contact lenses, built a cable television empire, built a cell phone business, and now his family has a large percentage of a natural gas company as well as a large part of Verizon Communications. Each of his businesses was sold to a larger company at one point for an exorbitant sum of money. They now are among the ten billionaires that reside in Florida. The man was a pariah.

Web Fun Facts for Today: Beethoven

Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Download the latest version here. You also need to have JavaScript enabled in your browser.

I love classical music, and Beethoven is one of my favorites. His birthday is today and I thought I would do a little tribute to him.

  • Haydn, another great composer, was his teacher and mentor.
  • He performed for Mozart, my most favorite composer, in Vienna in 1787.
  • Beethoven had to stop taking lessons because his musical ability was so different from all the composers of the time.
  • He did not start to become deaf until 1801 which became complete in 1817.
  • He never married and died after a long illness in 1827.

If you want to learn more about Beethoven’s life, times, and works he is just a search away. There is so much information about him that it’s virtually impossible to put it all in one posting. Have a listen to one of my favorite pieces by Beethoven: Moonlight Sonata.
