Yesterday me, the kid, and the hubby all went to the store to get a few things. With the purchase of a few knicknacks, shelves, and pictures, our home is getting warmer by the second. I was happy to find a 3 tiered candle holder for the side show table.
Hubby found 3 lovely oriental style pictures to frame out the look of our living room. He also found these adorable little blue birds. They make you want to pluck them up and squeeze them.

AND he got a shoe organizer *metal this time* that hangs over the door of our front closet. I also have a shelf that goes over the top of my sink now. It is nice to have my canisters out where they can be seen.
I will also share the other things I bought for the kitchen a little while back to make it look more homey:

I had a sublimely happy and tranquil “marriage rejuvenation” and “self reflection” time this weekend. The only thing that would have made it any better is if we one of those home theater popcorn machines with cheddar cheese popcorn. Hubby and I watched a good number of movies these last few days. I was ecstatic when he said he wanted to watch Romeo + Juliet. He rarely watches movies like that with me. We are more of an action and comedy couple.

I have a new obsession: LoLcatz and LoLdogz. I took a day and looked through about 112 pages on I Can Has Cheezburger. There is a regular LoLCats, but this one was the first one I found. I was laughing hysterically for hours that day. Ever since, I can’t stop making odd references to them, or laughing like a maniac when I hear the Diabetes commercial on television. It’s sad, I know. It’s all their fault though! Since then I have been making my own LoLdogz pictures. Here is one of them. I was going to post it Wednesday, but I didn’t have time:
There are more on my flickr site, but not too many. I’m not THAT obsessed LOL.

My husband got a letter in the mail today. It looked pretty official. It looked like it was from the Social Security office, proper. I ripped it open, wondering what was up. Here they have a promotional pension plan of sorts, for SENIOR CITIZENS. Uh, my husband is 25 years old. The top of the letter says “Dear Senior Citizen:”. Wait till I show him this. I will be laughing my head off at them thinking he is OLD LOL!

It always amuses me when soda companies put games and such on their websites hoping you will be compelled to buy their product. Coke zero’s website is no different. They are telling you that drinking their product will make “Life as it should be”. They have an application where you can direct a little movie and then share it with your best pals. They are also entering your movie into a competition against other shorts. They have black and white clips, a voice recorder, and a way for you to pretty much write your own script. I made one myself. It was cute. I even got to hear the computer try and say my name. That was a laugh riot all on its own. Pick from six different clips and try your hand at filling in witty dialogue. You never know whether yours will out perform all the others on the site. I didn’t put mine into the mix, though. It wasn’t that witty. Let me know if you try it out and what you think.

I can walk with my shoes untied and not trip over the laces…ever.
How?
Well it’s the way that I walk. I have always walked with my feet slanting slightly outwards, so there you go. At least, that’s what my mother says. What she doesn’t know is that I don’t walk that way anymore! LOL! I actually have drastically corrected the way that I walk, thanks to a few sessions with a personal trainer a few years back. Who knew that a personal trainer would be the one to show me how to correct my knee problems AND fix the way that I walk.
There you have it, the one fact that no one but me and Jesus knew till now.
Do you have any little things that people don’t know about you?

My buddy Fave took a good number of pictures the night we went to karaoke at the Richmond Arms. Take a Look!
Here is one of my favorites:

My father came this year. It meant a lot to all of us to have him there. He really enjoyed himself. He was in the airforce at one time and he kept his hat, so I took a few pictures of him with it on in front of a huge carrier plane:
There were some pretty wicked displays of death defying airplane stunts. There were also a good number of planes and old cars to be seen all over the lot. I took more video than pictures this time around. Here is a video of the Blue Angels air display:
