Well this week I couldn’t think of anything nice to say about myself so there is no I AM post. Everything I am thinking is something that I need to improve somehow, most of which I am unsure as to how to even try. I wish I was in a better state of mind to be able to peel this post off for you, but I’m not. I guess I will just have to go back and review the posts of what I AM to see if I can maybe bolster myself up again.

I don’t need to adorn myself with perfume and bling to be considered beautiful.
I AM BEAUTIFUL.
I AM a good wife.
I cook.
I clean.
I support.
I follow.
I lead.
I take care of when sick.
I am faithful.
I am loyal.
I have his best interests at heart.
I pray.
I love.
I AM A GOOD WIFE.
I AM blessed!
I am blessed to have a spacious home with warmth and plenty of food.
I am blessed to have hot water and heat in my home.
My husband and I are inside of some crazy stuff going on that is not affecting our peace. Thank the Lord.
I am blessed because there is favor in my house.
I am blessed because I still have a job, even if the money has been cut.
I am blessed to have the family that I have, inside and outside my house.
I am blessed because I have a wonderful church family, too.
I am blessed because I am still alive to enjoy all the bountiful blessings that God has for me.

I am making this up right now because I think it would be a good exercise for myself and for others.
Every Saturday I am going to do my best to get out an I AM meme.
Today, I AM a good cook.
I made really good turkey soup with peppers, potatoes, turkey, corn, green beans, and onions. I didn’t put in the noodles, as I hate soggy noodles. I will be able to add them in later.
I made a great turkey dinner for Thanksgiving (belated). My mashed potatoes were totally awesome. I used Yukon gold and Idaho potatoes. My turkey was tender and lightly flavored to perfection. My cookies were fantastic and diabetic-friendly. The light sugar cookies and tasty chocolate cookies were a huge hit.
Most of the meals that I make are eaten quickly and there are hardly ever any leftovers.
I AM A GOOD COOK.
I make great stir fry. It has quickly become a favorite in my house. I rarely order out for Chinese anymore because I love my stir fry so very much.
