Another day, another day

Yeah I have nothing clever to put into the title today. It’s library this morning and church tonight. I don’t know if the Man will go to his class tonight or not. He probably will, since he is off work. I was wondering if he would want to take his son, too. I kind of hope not. He would miss church and it’s a mighty long evening for him *and me* if we all go tonight. Besides, I think 3 days a week is PLENTY for my son to be in jiu jitsu and have to pay attention. I like to break it up with other things like church and the library.

Unfortunately, he is graduating out of the library class this summer since he is 5 now. The next thing I will be looking into is the summer day camp program at our church. I think it’s free but they collect offering every day they are there. So I will have to figure out how much I can give since they are going to be taking care of my son during half the day and reinforcing what I am teaching him about God at home. That alone is priceless, to me.

I am going to have to buy a new DVD player soon. Why? Well the one that I have works great IF you can get the CD or DVD to stay in long enough to load. It continually pops the disc right back out at you. I could swear it was laughing at me today as I desperately tried to get it to work so my son could watch the movie he was fretting about. So here I am searching through a DVD Recorders and Players Guide to find the best one to get next. I don’t want to have to upgrade it as soon as I buy it because some new disc has come to the forefront of technology. I was thinking about getting a Samsung Blu-Ray Disc Player , but I don’t know as I would have to make sure that the one we choose is in our budget. At least the blu-ray players are compatible with all the discs I have now, or I would be totally angry. They are a bit pricey, but they play everything so it is an even trade. Off to do some more research…

He is getting better!!! He may be released by this weekend. He is eating again and doing well. They finally figured out that he has Viral Meningitis. Can you believe that with a month old child? I’m still in shock. Well, thank God he is doing alright now.

The third installment of rockstartup is out now for your viewing pleasure. I like this episode the best out of all of them right now. I love to see what’s going on behind the scenes. It’s hard to imagine what goes on when you are part of an Internet start up company. The video is ten minutes long, but a nice length for what is going on. The new office looks like it is going to suit them well. What do you think? The office colors are pretty nice, too. I really like that shade of blue. Lately I have been into green a lot more than normal. Gotta love reality tv.

on trying to not have a baby…
seriously. i’m tired of the fear. i’m tired of trying to dodge the bullet. i’m tired of knowing that it will happen and not being able to accept it. whatever baby i am blessed with, i want to know it’s my choice to have it and it wasn’t a surprise. i want to know that i will love it like i love my first-born. i want to get it over with before i turn 30. i will be 27 next year and it’s creeping up on me. i want to be in top condition when this happens so that i will know that i did everything i was supposed to do for the child to be healthy. i give it up to God’s will and relinquish control over it…i would rather welcome it with open arms and never have it happen than to abhor it and go insane when it does happen.
in other news…my husband is ecstatic that i am no longer fighting over it.

Rate a doc, donate a dollar

The Toys for Tots Campaign at Vimo is donating one dollar for every doctor that is rated on their website. The dollar goes to Toys for Tots. They have a lofty goal of $1 million dollars. I don’t see any doctors, so I can’t rate any but you all can. I know there are plenty of you that see doctors on a regular basis. Even if you don’t feel like it, do it for the kids.
A few stipulations:

You can only rate 3 doctors for a max of $3 per reviewer.
The review needs to be original
The review has to have at least 100 characters *not words* about the doctor’s performance.

my baby cousin is being moved

today he is being moved to children’s hospital for further testing. we hope that they find whatever is wrong with him and fix it…we pray that it is fixable.. I have been praying/thinking hard for this kid. He is so young to have so much going on with him. please keep him in your hearts today as they begin the process of finding a solution for him.
im in a weird state of mind today, so if i seem random, im sorry.

I just got through looking at a site that allows you to place messages in Christmas carols. It’s pretty funny. You have got to go and take a stab at it yourself. I’m about to mess up Silent Night. When you are done with that, you can always check out the other 19 sites specially made for the holidays by floating your mouse over the Office Max yellow tab at the bottom of the screen. Have fun!

I have been trying to keep up with all my blogs, but it is getting to me. i am about to consolidate again and move 3 blogs into one domain. i am thinking i will buy another domain and set it up later today or tomorrow. i have been keeping up with mindsay and my new main blog…the other few that i keep up with on the normal are hard to continue. i think i have to get past this writer’s block i have for things that i normally write on those blogs *sigh*.
