I thought the lady that had the truck before us had some weird way to hook up her radar detectors, but then I found a telephone plug. I was like, umm why?. My husband took a look at it and said “that’s for ethernet”… then it all became clear. The little “radar detecting” antenna in the windshield was actually for:
WIFI!
So, if I ever get my laptop to work (or procure another one) I will be able to hook up via Wifi in the McDs parking lot! HAHA! I love that truck more and more. I just pray it keeps on working.

It always amuses me when soda companies put games and such on their websites hoping you will be compelled to buy their product. Coke zero’s website is no different. They are telling you that drinking their product will make “Life as it should be”. They have an application where you can direct a little movie and then share it with your best pals. They are also entering your movie into a competition against other shorts. They have black and white clips, a voice recorder, and a way for you to pretty much write your own script. I made one myself. It was cute. I even got to hear the computer try and say my name. That was a laugh riot all on its own. Pick from six different clips and try your hand at filling in witty dialogue. You never know whether yours will out perform all the others on the site. I didn’t put mine into the mix, though. It wasn’t that witty. Let me know if you try it out and what you think.

I often wonder how many grown people actually use Myspace. I mean, it is filled with lots of children that put their bodies on display for the world to see. There are some good points. I get to keep in touch with my friends from school, church, and life in general. If I have something important to say, though, I would never post it in a bulletin. Most of them are pretty inane and posted to so much that many people no longer even look at the bulletins. It’s a great tool for someone who really needs it, but obviously it’s been abused…along with pretty much everything else on the site. Nothing stays pure in this world. What do you use Myspace for?

For whatever reason, this acquisition of Skyrocket accounts by Teleband has messed up my phone service a bit. For instance, today…I hear a dial tone but I can’t call out! What does that mean? When I finally get inspiration to do my Podcast again… I CANT@@@. I think I am about to lose my ever loving mind. This is really starting to irk me. So if anyone is trying to call me, don’t. My cell has like $3 on it and I have to wait till I get paid to do anything about it. As far as my phone goes… well.. I guess I just have to sit on my creative tail and wait.

I am getting closer and closer to buying my dream camera. Right now I could buy Canon Powershot s3 is pretty close to what I want… pretty close. I want something with awesome macro, quick shooting capabilities, and a way to keep the settings saved so that you don’t have to set it up every single time you open the shutter. That is only part of what I want. The highest megapixel camera you can get right now would be awesome, too. I just have this dream of being a famous photographer, and I don’t have the equipment to do it. Very frustrating.

ARGH … I lost my connection to the internet for 3 days because of a silly oversight. I forgot to update the credit card info on my account. This is a reminder to you all that if you get a brand new card for your accounts, double check EVERY account that you have automatic payments coming from or else you will end up wish issues like I did. Thankfully, I am back online now and releasing a bunch of pent up energy via posts. It was hard being without my one true love for so long *shh don’t tell my husband!*

I have always been fascinated by the prospect of getting a picture frame that shows all the digital pictures that I have taken. I rarely ever print them, so not too many people get to see all the pictures I take of my family. With the family about to expand, it’s got me thinking more about getting a digital photo frame to put on top of the television.

The only problem is the cost. I would love to get a larger frame, but I can’t really afford $200 for that. I could get the 7 inch frame for around $100. I think it’s at least worth that, since it would cost at least 7 times more to print all the photos that I have taken over the last 5 years. They also provide you with a 256MB SD RAM card with the 10 inch frame, so at least the memory would be taken care of for a while. Maybe I will put the pretty ten inch LCD frame on my baby wishlist and see if anyone gets it for me.

Really. I do believe that she is. The way she talks about using network cables and configuring ports makes my skin tingle. Why? Mostly because that kind of work is beyond my comprehension at this point. Last night she got her two computers to talk to each other. They are on different operating systems! I was like “You Go!” …because I surely couldn’t. This is a salute to the genius of Marisa.
