OMG It’s like drinking coffee but not. I think I will be buying this instead of Frappucinos from now on. It’s crazy how good this is. I usually hate soy milk, but this… THIS is the awesome!

I was also surprised to find out it’s made by a soy sauce company. Joyous. Now I am curious about the green tea flavor.

Upgrade the Coffemaker?

I was just talking on teacupterrorist.com about the different ways you can brew coffee. I wanted to get a French Press, but my husband said since I don’t like strong coffee, I should stick with my good old tried and true coffee makers. I might still upgrade the coffeemaker to a better one soon, though. Something with stainless steel and a timer. Maybe even a side that is exclusively for tea. That would make me extremely happy.

Bye Booksfree

I just canceled my booksfree account. Why? Well, it isn’t because their service sucked. It was very good service. It isn’t even a whole lot of money. It’s just that I have to cut something, and that extra has to go. Maybe one day in the future I can start up again. Right now, I have to read the other book I got from them and send the two back so I won’t incur any charges. If the booksfree people ever look up their name, I want them to see that they lost a customer not because of their faults, but because I had a choice to make. Thanks for five months of awesome service. I appreciate it so much. You kept me sane a few more days a month.

I am about to let go of something else I love, too. My coffee subscription. That one will hurt like this one did. *sigh* I hate sacrifices sometimes.

If you read my blogs you will know that we had our computer chair break and had been looking for a new one. The other day my son helped me to break the chair we were using for the computer so it was a bare necessity to get another one right away. Yesterday, I took off to Walmart and bought their leather office chair for under $50. It is so comfortable!

Husby got to finish my car yesterday before the rains came. It took him the better part of the day. We thought the brake line had been loose, and from my view it seemed as if it were only the back brake that was affected. Come to find out, the brake line had snapped at the bolt. Husby, being the handy man that he is, was able to take the same length of piping and securely reattach the broken bolt.

The dog decided to take off yesterday, but I will talk more about that later. At least I didn’t end up with hard feelings toward the dog, but I don’t think he will take off again for a while after yesterday…

I got my Kona in the mail from Marisa. I have a tribute to write to her later…

Husby had his phone stolen yesterday *at least that’s what I gather from the unusual story around it*. So here we go again … on another saga with VM for a new phone…ugh.

I am obsessed with:

Tea and Coffee, but you all knew that already.
Music, yet another obsession of mine. I can’t go one day without some kind of music. I have a radio implanted in my head…or maybe it’s an iPod.
Knowledge. I am forever looking for books and reading new things. I love to seek information.
Shopping for bargains. It gives me a sadistic thrill to find the things that I need at lower prices somewhere else. It gives me a high like no other.
Writing. Writing is like speaking. If I couldn’t speak, I would have to be able to write. If I can’t write or speak then I think I shall die.

Interesting coffee gadget

It stirs itself! Honest. Why would you want it? I don’t know. Novelty value maybe? BUT it is an auto stir coffee mug. I surely would buy it for the fun of having it and being able to talk about it when people come over. Yes I’m a geek and I love gadgets and coffee… Putting the two together just makes it all the better for me

I just launched a new blog called Teacup Terrorist. I know, I know…yet another blog which brings me to a whopping 10 again. At least it’s not 12 ! After seeing this other woman who had at least 60 blogs that she keeps up with on a regular basis, no one can ever say that I have too many again.

Anyway, Teacup Terrorist is all about my obsessions: tea, cocoa, coffee…and maybe a little pepsi thrown in…but mostly the Trifecta of Terror.

It’s decaf so I can drink more of it than I can my other coffees. It smells so divine. I am going to have a cup before the day is over.

I did remember to take my omega3 this morning so that is a good thing. I ams till aggravated and snapped at my husband this morning. I didn’t mean to…praying for Coby since I heard he had a rough weekend. I am calling the rescue tomorrow morning to see what’s up.

My son was singing a song he made up all by himself this morning. It was pretty funny that he would just come out of the blue and sing about what he did. I must be doing something right.

Toys and Teacups

I love tea pots, tea cups, and original handmade crafts. Original czech handmade pottery is so pretty. I was looking at their pretty teacups and nearly fainted. They are inexpensive and beautiful. I love this teacup. Something about the green is so alluring. They are functional, too…not just pretty pieces to stare at on a shelf. It’s $5.

They also have hand crafted wooden puzzles for children. The dog puzzle is adorable. They are only $12.

The only killer is the shipping is like $15. They are located in the Czech Republic, so it is understandable that shipping isn’t cheap. They do take paypal, though. That’s always a plus.

Got my coffee & My son is too much

I got my beautiful coffee today. I ordered three kinds of drinks:

I have been buying their coffees and hot drinks for a while now. I am a silver member and get ten percent off all my purchases. Dingbat me *my mother hates when I call myself that* forgot to double check the what I ordered and I ended up with whole bean caramel kiss. It’s okay, though, because I found out that my mini-chopper will do a fine job of grinding the beans up. No more caring which one I get! YAY!

As for my son…He thought it would be nice to call his grandmother and talk to her for a while tonight. He told her stories about what he was doing and even had a nice little chat about a make believe pie he was making her from the *berries* he picked. His *berries* are the mints from my mint bowl. He has such a vivid imagination!

Christmas PartyÂ

I really hope that I get a new digital camera for Christmas. I don’t usually ask for more than one thing as I am a grown person and I don’t feel that it’s right. My husby is so sweet that instead of asking for something for himself for the Secret Santa he asked for something nice for me. I am already planning my decorations. I went through our knick knacks and found some of our old ornaments and figuritas *figurines to all who don’t speak spanglish* to put around the house. I have already hung our stockings. Next we are getting the tree. My mom said she has gold balls that we can put on it. They will go great with the dining room. I am using SecretSanta.com to get everyone in the groove for the gift exchange and for letting them know where I live. Not all my relatives on my mom’s side have been here yet.
