I have been in such a wine loving mood lately. I thought I would outline my thursday thirteen of different wines that I have either had or would like to try:

1. Red Merlot - love
2. White Merlot - love
3. Manichewitz Blackberry - love
4. White Zinfandel - like
5. Pinot Grigio - tastes like …ew
6. Pinot Noir - love
7. Chardonnay - like
8. Champagne - it’s ok
9. Chianti - want to try
10. Cabernet Sauvignon - want to try
11. Korbel - want to try
12. Sauvignon Blanc- want to try
13. Riesling - want to try

So there you have it. Not only am I a Coffee, tea, and cocoa snob, I am also a wine snob! YAY me.

Here is my thursday thirteen of things I want to have (or keep):

1. My subscription to Booksfree (9.95/mo)
2. My subscription to Old Schoolhouse Magazine (19.95/yr)
3. My subscription to Boca Java (20/8weeks)
4. A coach purse to match my brown coach wallet (~200)
5. A red coach wallet to match my red coach purse (~200)
6. One manipedi every month (50)
7. My student loan to continue to be paid on time (134/mo)
8. To buy a house within the next 5 years (~800/mo +lifetime commitment)
9. My hair to grow back the way I like (priceless)
10. To be able to use the patience that I have learned over time with my son on a consistent basis.
11. To find a way to keep my mood steady, since it looks like the mental health services in our area are NEVER going to call me back.
12. To be right about pre-trib rapture
13. World peace

Here is my Thursday Thirteen of things that I wish:

1. I was still pregnant
2. I could find a decent sized kids bedding set for my son’s bed.
3. I could rent/borrow a car for this weekend. We might not get to my friend’s wedding *sniff, sniff*
4. my grandmother was still alive and WELL
5. my son would treat me better than he has been
6. I could see into the future and know if I am doing right by my son in the now
7. I had more to eat for breakfast than things I drown in milk or syrup.
8. I had more steady work to do. It’s getting there but not quite where I want it to be.
9. I had more time to myself.
10. My mother lived closer to me.
11. We could move out of Jersey.
12. My car was fixed so I wouldn’t be running around trying to find a car for the weekend.
13. My mother could come this weekend.

1. Thinking of my son growing up so fast and leaving.

6. Thinking of the things I could have done with my life if I had known then what I know now.
7. Movie scenes that echo my own life.
8. Missing my grandmother.
9. Feeling lonely.
10. Looking at my hair on the floor.
11. Horrormones.
12. Mean words.
13. Losing money.

Yes, I know I am a slacker. I was so speechless from that book yesterday that I didn’t even post a Wordless Wednesday picture. SO I figured I would tie it in with my Thursday Thirteen of things that I am taking to Puerto Rico. I am doing it this week since I will be busy next week and may not get a chance to tell you!

1. Digital camcorder



2. Digital camera
3. At least 4 pairs of shoes
4. MP3 player
5. Rechargeable batteries & charger
6. Extra towels
7. Sunglasses *if I can find them :(*
8. Sunscreen
9. Toothbrushes *must NOT forget*
10. Sometimes I Act Crazy Book
11. Moleskine notebooks
12. Earplugs
13. Motion sickness tablets *for the mountain driving*

I still have to find some concert tickets for Husby. I am hoping against hope that there is at least one reggaeton concert when we get down there.

If you are getting tired of me yammering on and on about my trip… sorry!

Here is my Thursday Thirteen of things I need to do or purchase before our trip to Puerto Rico:

1. Luggage, I must buy carry ons before we go. See my thoughts here.
2. Motion sickness meds. I hear that the constant up and down on the mountains will make you wretchedly sick.
3. Set up kennel care for the dog.
4. Earplugs. I must have those before I go anywhere.
5. Figure out what to do with my mail. Can you request that the mail place hold your stuff till you return? Checking that out later.
6. Clothes… what am I going to take to wear???
7. Batteries for the camera *of course*.
8. Find Internet access. I must have it or I will be so far behind when I get back that I will never catch up. Might end up getting a wifi card for the broke down laptop.
9. If I can make enough money by then I will buy a newer laptop. Thank God for my newfound steady income! No more worries about making that bill and have extra for myself SQUEEEE!
10. Try to talk hubby into getting me an mp3 player.
11. Alert our trustworthy neighbors that we will not be home so they can watch for any devious activity.
12. Make sure all the bills are up to date so we don’t have any surprises when we return.
13. Figure out what we are going to do with our car when we leave…cuz I am not trying to pay for storage or whatever till we get back.

Here is my Thursday Thirteen of things I need to do with my tax money:

1. Buy a newer car
2. Fix my other car
3. Buy the baby’s homeschool kit
4. Buy the tickets for Puerto Rico
5. Pay the electric bill
6. Pay the cable bill
7. Pay the insurance
8. Put some aside for just in case
9. Get the stuff to do my hair again
10. Buy the dog a better bed
11. Buy some more sturdy squeaky toys for the dog
12. Go out to dinner with my boo
13. Buy clothes for me and hubby

That sounds like a lot to do with a little money. Money doesn’t go very far once you divide it into its designated uses. All of a sudden you look around and you only have 20 bucks for gas.
